Mike Allen - better known as Dj Maj - is a pioneer in Christian urban music, and now he is forging a new conversation about mental health. The producer and DJ tell us why he started Family Dance Parties on Instagram during COVID-19, all in an effort to create a conversation about mental illness. As a longtime member of the Evangelical community and a member of Toby Mac's Diverse City band, he also explains what broke the taboo around mental illness in the Christian Music.
